Tom Anderson, President of the Sweden-based ABB Cable Accessory Company Limited recently attended a ceremony in Chongqing for designating Chongqing Civil Power Supply Equipment Company as ABB's direct franchiser in west China. ABB, one of the Fortune 500 companies, is also a world-renowned power equipment, cables and wires and telecommunication devices supplier. Besides giving its distribution right for ABB power supply equipment in west China to the Chongqing firm, ABB will also be visiting local cable firms with which it may pursue partnerships.
