Project of Modification of Vacuum-Switch Tubes

Project Content: It is planned to enlarge the present production capacity from 10,000 sets to 30,000 sets yearly through adding investment and modifying the existing technique.

Construction Condition: Vacuum-switch tubes, the elemental parts in vacuum switches, which characterizes safety, long life-time, low broken, are widely applied to electric switches. At present, more than 400,000 pieces are demanded in China. Compared with the supply of 130,000 pieces, the products have a good marketing prospect. The sponsor also possesses the associating facilities to produce all ceramic parts, metal parts needed by the vacuum-switch tubes.

Investment & Composition: Total investment amounts to US$ 5 million, of which, fixed assets of US$ 4.34 million, working capital of US$ 0.66. Plan to introduce US$ 3 million foreign investment.

Economic Benefit Evaluation: Upon completion, annual sales volume of US$ 8 million, profit and tax of US$ 2.06 million, and investment payoff term of 3 years.

Project Status: The project is one of the 100 key projects for scientific research of Hubei Province, and has been approved.
