Project of Building a Railway for Salt and Nitre Plant

Project Content: Plan to build 1.3 meters long special railway for Yunmeng Salt and Nitre Plant.

Construction Condition: As statistics, the plant has the annual handling capacity of goods of 500,000 tons. After building the special railway, it can reduce costs and pollution.

Investment & Composition: Total investment amounts to US$ 2.87 million. Plan to introduce US$ 1.87 million of foreign investment.

Economic Benefit Evaluation: Investment payoff rate of 30.26%, and payoff term of 4 years, construction period of 1 year.

Project Status: The feasibility study and project proposal has been worked out.

Mode of Cooperation: Joint venture or cooperation.

Introduction to Sponsor: Yunmeng Salt and Nitre Plant is a big state enterprise with fixed assets of US$ 20.36 million, annual profit and tax of US$ 1.45 million, two production lines of refined salt, one line of mirabilite, and two turbo-generators of 3000 kW. Its main products are edible salt, industrial salt and mirabilite etc.
