Project of Constructing a Base of Medicine, Tea and Forest

Project Content: It is planned to open up a base of 15,000 mu and including 1,000 mu for tea, 7,000 mu for China fir, 6,000 mu for medicine, 500 mu for Chinese chestnut and 500 mu for bamboo forest.

Construction Condition: Dawushan General Factory of Medicine, Tea and Forest is located in the subtropical monsoon zone. With agreeable climate and plentiful rainfall and average temperature of 20℃, and non-frost period of 300 days every year, the locality enjoys fertile soil that is suitable for developing medicine, tea and forest.

Investment & Composition: Total investment amounts to US$ 3.6 million, of which, the fixed assets of US$ 3 million and working capital of US$ 0.6 million. The project sponsor invests US$ 1.1 million, and the partner does US$ 2.5 million.

Economic Benefit Evaluation: After completion, the annual output reaches US$ 12.09 million, profit and tax of US$ 4.84 million, and investment payoff term of 2 years.

Project Status: The project has been approved.

Mode of Cooperation: Joint venture, solely foreign-invested venture.

Project Sponsor: Dawushan General Factory of Medicine, Tea and Forest has already opened up 9830 mu land, including 4000 mu for China fir, 5215 mu for medicine, 115 mu for Chinese chestnut and 450 mu for tea.
